Prohibits stopping, detaining, or arresting individuals for civil-only offenses while they are in or traveling within 1 mile of a judicial facility to attend official proceedings, unless prior notice is given to the presiding judge and the action does not disrupt proceedings or deter access to justice

Defines "judicial facility" broadly to include courthouses, administrative hearing facilities, and any area within 1,000 feet of such locations, including pathways, parking lots, and grounds

Exemptions apply for suspected criminal offenses, valid warrants, contempt of court, and certain mental health examinations authorized under state law

Evidence obtained in violation of this section is inadmissible in any state court or state/local entity proceeding, and individuals may sue for damages, injunctive relief, and attorney's fees

Effective date is October 1, 2026, and the Act supplements protections under Chapter 718 of the Acts of 2025
