Maryland Port Administration must provide written notice to the Anne Arundel County Delegation to the General Assembly at least 2 weeks before announcing any public hearing on land acquisition in Anne Arundel County

Existing law already requires Anne Arundel County approval after a public hearing before the Administration can acquire land or improvements in the county

The Administration retains the right to acquire options on property prior to obtaining county approval

County approval is automatically deemed granted if the county does not respond in writing within 90 days of a written request from the Administration
