Requires the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services and the Judiciary to automatically expunge all eligible criminal cases by July 1, 2028, without requiring individuals to petition for expungement

Eligible cases include those where all charges resulted in acquittal, dismissal, nolle prosequi, or other non-conviction outcomes (after 3 years), and most misdemeanor convictions (after 7 years)

Excludes second-degree assault and domestically related crimes from automatic expungement eligibility

Beginning August 1, 2028, the Judiciary must identify newly eligible cases monthly and notify the Department, which must complete expungement within one month of notification

A new conviction during the 7-year waiting period resets eligibility, and the original conviction cannot be expunged until the new conviction becomes eligible
