State Acupuncture Board will make proof of renewal available electronically rather than issuing paper renewal certificates

Prohibits employing unlicensed individuals to practice acupuncture or aiding/abetting unauthorized acupuncture practice

First offense for employing unlicensed practitioners is a misdemeanor with fines up to $5,000 and/or 1 year imprisonment; subsequent offenses become felonies with fines up to $5,000 per day and/or 5 years imprisonment, plus civil fines up to $10,000

Updates terminology from "Oriental Medicine" to "Herbal Medicine" for accreditation references
