Maryland Department of Transportation must conduct a comprehensive traffic safety audit of Maryland Route 202 and Maryland Route 704 in Prince George's County

Audit must include strategies for improving safety for motor vehicle drivers/passengers, bicyclists, and pedestrians; crash history data and traffic risk trends; identification of infrastructure, engineering, and traffic control deficiencies; and community input

Recommendations must focus on corrective actions and crash reduction countermeasures that can be implemented quickly

Department must report findings and recommendations to the Prince George's County Delegation by December 31, 2026

Act takes effect June 1, 2026 and automatically expires on June 30, 2027
