Transfers authority to select subscriber members of continuing care retirement community governing bodies from the governing body itself to the resident association of each facility

Requires providers with multiple facilities to include as a regular governing body member a subscriber from the facility with the most subscribers, plus one alternate subscriber member for every three facilities

Eliminates the requirement that subscriber members meet the same written standards and criteria as other governing body members, including any requirement to adhere to a particular religious faith or principle

Removes the mandate that governing bodies confer with resident associations before subscriber members officially join the board

Takes effect October 1, 2026
