Extends the Task Force on Responsible Use of Natural Psychedelic Substances by one year, from December 31, 2026 to December 31, 2027

Requires the Task Force to submit an updated report of findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by October 31, 2026

The Task Force studies natural psychedelic substances including psilocybin, psilocin, dimethyltryptamine, and mescaline (excluding peyote) for potential therapeutic uses

Task Force responsibilities include recommending a framework for a Maryland Natural Psychedelic Substance Access Program and pathways to decriminalization, including expungement of nonviolent offenses

The 19-member Task Force includes legislators, state agency officials, and Governor-appointed experts in areas such as psychedelic research, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and drug policy reform
