Expands existing identity protection laws to cover victims of sexual assault and stalking, in addition to minor victims already protected under current law

Prohibits courts and parties in criminal or juvenile delinquency cases from disclosing identifying information of sexual assault or stalking victims to nonparties unless the information is redacted

Requires clear and convincing evidence of good cause for a court to order disclosure of victim identifying information without redaction

Allows victims of sexual assault or stalking, or their representatives, to still access unredacted filings and records in their own cases

Requires courts to redact identifying information from existing filings or records upon written request by a victim of sexual assault or stalking

Takes effect October 1, 2026
