Reduces the State Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Music Therapists from 15 members to 13 members

Eliminates the two physician member positions that were required to be licensed in Maryland, certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and currently practicing in the state

Removes the previous voting restriction where physicians could not vote on proposals expanding or restricting the practice of audiology or speech-language pathology

Terminates the terms of the two current physician members on June 30, 2026

Takes effect June 1, 2026
