Adds kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies, and zebras to the list of nondomesticated animals prohibited from being imported, sold, traded, possessed, bred, or exchanged in Maryland, effective October 1, 2026

Current owners of these newly prohibited animals who had lawful possession before October 1, 2026 may keep them if they notify local animal control by December 1, 2026 with their contact information, animal details, and photo or microchip identification

Reduces the transit exception for non-residents traveling through Maryland with prohibited animals from 10 days to 48 hours

Removes the exception that previously allowed persons with disabilities limiting mobility to possess prohibited animals if trained by a 501(c) organization

Updates the name reference from "American Zoo and Aquarium Association" to "Association of Zoos and Aquariums" for animal sanctuary breeding exceptions
