County boards of library trustees may provide for the selection of a student member through a process established by the board

Student members must be juniors or seniors enrolled in a public, nonpublic, or home school in the county, be of good character, be in good standing (if applicable), and have an interest in library matters

Student members serve 1-year terms and are selected during their sophomore or junior year

Student members may vote on all policy matters and may vote on additional nonpolicy matters if the board adopts a policy or bylaw authorizing such voting
