Increases annual salaries for the Comptroller, Treasurer, and Attorney General from the current range of $165,000-$175,000 to $175,000-$185,000 over their four-year terms beginning January 2027

Raises the Secretary of State's annual salary from the current range of $112,500-$120,000 to $120,000-$128,000 over their four-year term beginning January 2027

Salary increases apply only to terms beginning after October 1, 2026, in compliance with Maryland Constitution Article III, § 35, which prohibits mid-term salary changes

Individuals appointed or elected after the effective date to fill unexpired terms would receive the new salary rates immediately

Takes effect October 1, 2026
