Expands the definition of "rental agreement" to include electronic agreements for self-service storage facilities, in addition to written agreements

Prohibits occupants from using a storage facility beyond the rental term after receiving a nonrenewal notice delivered in person, by e-mail, or by verified mail

Requires operators to provide occupants at least 30 days after delivery of a nonrenewal notice, and at least until the end of the rental term, to remove personal property

Authorizes operators to dispose of any personal property remaining after the removal period has elapsed, but must provide at least 10 days' notice of intent to dispose

Takes effect October 1, 2026
