Requires the Governor to annually proclaim April as Maryland Climate Education Month

The proclamation must urge residents of all ages to participate in educational activities and initiatives promoting climate change awareness

The proclamation must also encourage residents to take action toward the state's climate commitments

Adds Section 7-504 to the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, renumbering existing sections accordingly

Effective date: October 1, 2026
