Grants affected officers eligibility service and creditable service for their employment with Dorchester County prior to the effective date of participation

Terminates membership in the Employees' Pension System for officers who transfer to the Correctional Officers' Retirement System, forfeiting all benefits under the previous system

Exempts these service credit transfers from the standard transfer rules under Title 37 of the State Personnel and Pensions Article

Takes effect June 1, 2026
