Extends the authorization for aquaculture leaseholders to place shellfish, bags, nets, and structures on submerged aquatic vegetation from June 30, 2027 to June 30, 2030

Requires prior written approval from the Department of Natural Resources before placing any materials on submerged aquatic vegetation

Prohibits dredge harvesting in areas where submerged aquatic vegetation is present

Requires water column leases to allow placement of shellfish equipment in at least 10% of the area containing submerged aquatic vegetation

Takes effect June 1, 2026
