Department of Aging authorized to make grants to nonprofit organizations and area agencies on aging to support social connection for seniors through events at "multigenerational third places" — community spaces outside homes or workplaces where people of different ages can gather

Senior villages may use grant funds for operational costs including administrative expenses and short-term or long-term leases or rental costs to provide access to multigenerational third places

Governor required to include at least $100,000 annually in the budget for aging-in-place grants, with at least 20% of funding designated for senior villages

Organizations seeking grants to expand existing aging-in-place programs must demonstrate an equal match for funds requested
