Recommended awardees of State procurement contracts must submit copies of any subcontractor agreements or contracts to the procurement officer before the contract is officially awarded

The requirement applies to all procurement contracts where the awardee uses a subcontractor, regardless of whether the contract requires the use of subcontractors

Recommended awardees may redact confidential information, proprietary commercial information, or trade secrets from submitted subcontractor agreements

The Board of Public Works is required to adopt regulations to implement the new requirements

The act takes effect October 1, 2026
