Veterans who are unemployable due to a service-connected disability would be exempt from vehicle registration fees for one vehicle they own or lease and personally use

Adds this new exemption category to existing exemptions already available to veterans who have lost use of limbs, are totally disabled, or have permanent visual impairments

Surviving spouses of deceased disabled veterans and religious organizations operating school vehicles are also currently exempt under this section

Effective date: October 1, 2026
