Carroll County Office of Permits and Inspections may deny issuance or renewal of commercial licenses and permits to applicants with unpaid personal property taxes

Denial cannot occur if the applicant submits evidence that they have disputed the amount of unpaid personal property taxes

Previously denied licenses or permits may be issued or renewed once the applicant provides evidence that unpaid personal property taxes have been paid

Applies only to Carroll County and takes effect October 1, 2026
