Governor's Appointments Office must submit an annual report to the General Assembly by December 1 each year, beginning December 1, 2026, covering judicial appointment data from the prior calendar year

Report must include the number of individuals who applied to judicial nominating commissions seeking appointment as a judge, broken down by judicial office sought, ethnicity, gender identity, disability status, veteran status, and sexual orientation

Report must include the number of individuals recommended by judicial nominating commissions to the Office for judicial appointment, with the same demographic breakdowns

Report must include the number of individuals nominated by the Governor to serve as a judge, disaggregated by the same demographic categories

Act takes effect June 1, 2026
