Department of Housing and Community Development must conduct a study on condominium buildings in Maryland that are more than 40 years old

Study must determine: the number of such buildings, number of units in each, age and annual income of each unit owner, date of most recent reserve study, and any shortfall between current and required reserve fund amounts

Department must report findings to the General Assembly by December 1, 2026

Act takes effect June 1, 2026 and automatically expires June 30, 2027
