Licensed massage therapists and registered massage practitioners are prohibited from advertising that states or implies prostitution, escort services, or sexual services are available, or placing ads on websites known for such services

Advertisements listing an individual therapist's name must display the name consistent with their Board-issued license or registration

Trade names may be used in advertising if not deceptive, the practitioner's name appears on billing invoices, stationery, and receipts, and treatment records identify the practitioner who performed services

Each day an online advertisement violating these provisions remains visible constitutes a separate violation; failure to remove non-compliant physical signs or billboards also constitutes a violation

Physical signs or billboards in violation must be removed by May 1, 2027; the act takes effect October 1, 2026
