Acknowledges the importance of teaching culturally diverse curriculum in Maryland elementary and secondary schools to ensure all citizens feel represented

Establishes state policy that curricula should include the history and experiences of communities that have faced discrimination based on disability, ethnicity, gender, indigenous American Tribal affiliation, race, religion or faith, and sexual orientation

Affirms Maryland's commitment to providing nondiscriminatory, inclusive education that reflects the breadth and diversity of Marylanders' lived experiences

Commits the state to robust civic, cultural, and history education to develop engaged and informed community members

Requires the Department of Legislative Services to forward copies of the resolution to the Governor, legislative leaders, State Board of Education, State Superintendent, and all 24 county boards of education
