Requires county and municipal fixed local bus routes to allow passengers to board and exit at early voting center entrances when the center is within one-half mile of the route during early voting periods

Applies only to buses funded and operated by counties or municipal corporations (or their contractors), not to Maryland Transit Administration or Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority routes

Exempts express and commuter bus routes with limited stops between origin and destination

Early voting centers operate from the second Thursday before primary or general elections through the Thursday before election day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Takes effect January 1, 2027
