Reduces legislative membership on the Oversight Committee from 4 to 2 members by eliminating the Senate Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee seat and reducing House Health and Government Operations Committee seats from 2 to 1

Removes representatives from the Health Facilities Association of Maryland and Voices for Quality Care from the committee

Adds one representative from LeadingAge Maryland to the committee membership

Changes the Maryland Association of Adult Day Services designation to Maryland Association for Medical Adult Day Services

Adds "to the extent practicable" language for the requirement that three assisted living industry representatives cover different facility sizes (1-4 residents, 5-9 residents, and 10+ residents)

Takes effect October 1, 2026
