Extends the termination date from July 1, 2026-2027 to July 1, 2032 for five state regulatory boards/commissions: State Board of Barbers, State Board of Cosmetologists, State Board for Professional Land Surveyors, State Commission of Real Estate Appraisers/Appraisal Management Companies/Home Inspectors, and State Board of Individual Tax Preparers

Maryland Department of Labor must submit a report to the Joint Audit and Evaluation Committee on or before July 1, 2030 containing information determined by the Committee for each of the five entities

Continuation is made pursuant to the Maryland Program Evaluation Act (sunset law), which requires periodic review and reauthorization of state boards and commissions

Act takes effect June 1, 2026
