Licensed firearms dealers must notify the Secretary of State Police within 24 hours of learning about a burglary, attempted burglary, robbery, or theft involving firearms or ammunition at their premises

Dealers must also report within 24 hours any compromise of required security features, including failures of video recording equipment, entry prevention systems, burglary alarms, or physical barriers

Civil penalties for violations: up to $250 for a first offense and up to $1,000 for second or subsequent violations

Knowingly and willfully violating the requirements can result in license suspension for a second offense and license revocation for a third or subsequent offense
