Authorizes the Department of Natural Resources to establish a voluntary process for adding veteran status notations to licenses, permits, registrations, and public profiles

Applicants requesting veteran status notation must submit proof of service: a certification from the Department of Veterans and Military Families, DD Form 214, or other acceptable documentation

Veterans must consent to both the notation on their documents and to being contacted by executive branch agencies about eligibility for state or federal veterans' benefits

Requires the Department to electronically share information about consenting veterans with other executive branch agencies upon request, in accordance with privacy laws

Takes effect October 1, 2026
