Reestablishes a related event promoter's permit in Baltimore City for social events connected to the CIAA Basketball Tournament that involve alcoholic beverage sales and anticipate at least 75 attendees

Requires promoters to apply at least 30 days before the event, obtain written consent from Visit Baltimore, secure a special event permit from Baltimore City Department of Transportation, and pay a $50 application fee

Permit fees are $500 for venues with capacity under 300 persons or $1,500 for venues with capacity of 300 or more persons, as determined by the Baltimore City Fire Marshal

Violations result in fines of $1,000 to $3,000 and/or license suspension, with violators barred from obtaining a related event promoter's permit for at least one year

Enacted as an emergency measure effective February 24, 2026, and automatically expires on June 30, 2029
