Creates simplified certification requirements for grocery stores and restaurants, requiring only program registration and AED maintenance, rather than the full requirements applicable to other entities

Repeals provisions regarding regional council AED committees and removes the requirement for mandatory operator training, instead requiring only the AED Coordinator to complete educational and refresher training courses

Takes effect October 1, 2026
