Members of the Health Services Cost Review Commission whose terms expire may continue serving for a maximum of 6 months, replacing the current rule allowing indefinite service until a successor is appointed and qualifies

Members appointed mid-term to fill vacancies will serve only the remainder of that term, eliminating their ability to continue serving until a successor is appointed

The Commission consists of 7 members appointed by the Governor with Senate consent, serving 4-year terms, with at least 4 members required to have no connection to facility management or policy
