Requires Maryland Medicaid and private health insurers to cover orthoses (braces and supportive devices), including custom-designed, custom-fabricated, and custom-fitted devices for neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, acquired, or congenital conditions, beginning January 1, 2027

Mandates annual coverage for orthoses, their components, repairs, and replacements when a health care provider determines replacement is necessary due to changes in patient condition or irreparable device damage

Prohibits insurers from imposing higher copayments or coinsurance for orthoses than for similar medical/surgical benefits, and bars separate annual or lifetime dollar caps on orthosis coverage

Expands covered uses for both orthoses and prostheses to include daily living activities, job-related activities, and physical activities like running, biking, swimming, and strength training

Requires insurers and Medicaid managed care organizations to report compliance data on claims filed and amounts paid for calendar years 2027-2030, with a joint report due to the legislature by December 31, 2032
