Retail service stations must prominently display the "standard price" (available to all customers without conditions) for regular gasoline on signs readable by passing motorists, with numerals at least 8 inches high and 3.5 inches wide

"Conditional prices" (prices requiring membership, specific payment method, or other conditions) may not be displayed more prominently than the standard price on signage

Replaces the previous requirement to display "credit and debit price" versus "cash price" with the new standard price/conditional price framework

Comptroller may assess fines up to $100 for first violations and escalating fines for subsequent violations, but must first issue a written warning and provide opportunity to cure

Takes effect June 1, 2026; gasoline suppliers must provide new signs and numerals at no cost to retail station dealers if needed for compliance
