Allows individuals to petition for expungement of criminal records when their case was disposed of with a "no finding" designation or designated as "terminated without finding" by the court

Expands eligibility for expungement to include cases where a person was convicted of an eligible offense but had a remaining charge that received a "no finding" or "terminated without finding" disposition

Creates an exception to the general rule that prevents expungement of any conviction in a unit if one conviction is ineligible—dispositions with "no finding" or "terminated without finding" designations may still be expunged

Applies to police records, court records, and other records maintained by the State or political subdivisions of Maryland

Takes effect October 1, 2026
