Extends the reporting deadline for the State Retirement Agency workgroup studying transfers of member service between State and local retirement and pension systems from December 1, 2025 to October 1, 2026

Extends the termination date of the workgroup from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2027, changing the effective period from 1 year and 1 month to 2 years and 1 month

Changes the reporting requirement from the General Assembly broadly to specifically the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, House Appropriations Committee, and Joint Committee on Pensions

Amends Chapters 768 and 769 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2025, which originally established the workgroup

Takes effect June 1, 2026
