Renames three entertainment permit categories in Anne Arundel County: "music" becomes "Background Entertainment," "entertainment" becomes "General Entertainment," and "dancing" becomes "Full Entertainment"

Background Entertainment permit ($100/year) now authorizes multiple televisions and piped-in background music, removing the previous allowance for live music with up to two musicians

General Entertainment permit ($200-$300/year) authorizes trivia games, karaoke, disc jockeys, and live music with up to four musicians, replacing the previous allowance for multiple televisions

Full Entertainment permit ($200-$400/year) adds authorization for permanent dance floors, stage areas, and floor shows to the existing music and entertainment options

Outdoor entertainment under General or Full Entertainment permits must occur at least 100 feet from any residentially zoned property; effective July 1, 2026
