Maryland higher education institutions admitting first-time undergraduates must prominently display a link to the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard on their prospective student websites by July 1, 2027

Institutions must include explanations of the Scorecard's information on cost of attendance, graduation rates, salary outcomes, and debt outcomes

Required information must be shared during orientations, recruitment events, in recruitment materials, and regularly with prospective students, parents, current students, academic advisors, and career counselors

Institutions must post the link and explanations on social media at least once per semester and on campus career center websites

The requirements automatically terminate if the federal College Scorecard is discontinued, with the Secretary of Higher Education required to notify the Department of Legislative Services within 10 days of such determination
