Expands the Maryland Graduate and Professional Scholarship Program to include students at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore enrolled in four specific programs: Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 per school year, with a maximum eligibility period of 8 semesters

Recipients must be Maryland residents and demonstrate financial need according to Commission-established criteria

The Commission allocates grants to eligible institutions based on the proportion of Maryland residents enrolled in eligible programs at each school

Effective date is July 1, 2026
