Washington County tax sale notices must be published twice in newspapers (once per week in alternate weeks) and posted on the county website 4 weeks prior to the sale, reducing the current statewide default of 4 weekly publications

The county website notice must be updated by close of business each Friday until the sale takes place

Newspaper notices must include a statement directing the public to the county website and providing instructions for accessing it

Property owners in Washington County must receive one additional copy of the post-sale notice within 15 days after the initial required notice is sent
