Authorizes pharmacists to order, test for, screen for, and treat minor conditions including cold sores, strep throat, influenza, lice, COVID-19, respiratory illnesses, skin conditions (ringworm, athlete's foot), and urinary tract infections under State Board of Pharmacy protocols

Permits pharmacists to perform and interpret HIV laboratory tests and prescribe/dispense pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) medications under Maryland Department of Health statewide protocols

Allows pharmacists to use CLIA-waived tests for clinical decision-making without requiring a letter of exception from the Department

Enables pharmacists to delegate administrative and technical testing tasks to registered pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, or individuals in Board-approved technician training programs

Repeals the existing Nonoccupational Postexposure Prophylaxis (nPEP) Standing Order Program, replacing it with broader pharmacist prescribing authority; effective October 1, 2026
