Prohibits the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners from suspending or revoking a veterinary license, reprimanding, censuring, or placing a licensee on probation solely for discussing or recommending the use of cannabis or cannabidiol (CBD) products for animals

Protected discussions must relate to potential therapeutic effect or health supplementation purposes for animals

Cannabis is defined per the Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis Article as Cannabis sativa L. with delta-9-THC concentration greater than 0.3% on a dry weight basis

Amends Section 2-310 of the Agriculture Article to add this protection as a new restriction on the Board's disciplinary authority
