Counties must offer no-cost preventive cancer screenings to volunteer firefighters, following the latest screening guidelines issued by the International Association of Fire Fighters

Volunteer fire companies must maintain up-to-date lists of their volunteer firefighters and provide the lists to their county by October 1 each year and upon request

Counties must maintain a consolidated list of all volunteer firefighters who volunteer within the county

Counties may satisfy the screening requirement by either providing a no-cost annual examination that includes cancer screenings or by applying for a grant under Title 13, Subtitle 40 of the Health – General Article to fund innovative screening technologies, including multicancer early detection blood tests
