State Fire Prevention Commission must adopt regulations incorporating Sections 30.7.5 and 31.7.5 of the National Fire Protection Association 101 Life Safety Code (2024 Edition) into the State Fire Prevention Code

Trash and recyclable materials awaiting scheduled collection may be placed in corridors and exits in accordance with the incorporated NFPA provisions

Amends Article – Public Safety, Section 6–206(a) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

Designated as an emergency measure, requiring three-fifths vote in both chambers and taking effect immediately upon enactment

Replaces the term "inimicable" with "harmful" when describing hazards to public safety that require correction
