Establishes the MDiplomaWorks pathway as an alternative method for Maryland residents to earn a high school diploma through demonstrated academic and career competencies, including workforce experience

Eligibility requires individuals to have not obtained a high school diploma, reside in Maryland, not be subject to compulsory school attendance, and have withdrawn from regular full-time public or private school

Diploma achievement is demonstrated through a combination of: earning industry-recognized credentials, passing formal academic assessments, completing career and technical education coursework, and completing on-the-job learning experiences

The Secretary of Labor and State Board of Education will adopt regulations governing diploma awards through this pathway
