Extends the minimum time period that common ownership communities must allow residents to display candidate and proposition signs from 30 days to 45 days before the start of early voting for primary elections, general elections, or proposition votes

Applies to cooperative housing corporations, condominiums, and homeowners associations across Maryland

Maintains the existing requirement that signs may be displayed until 7 days after the election or vote

For jurisdictions without early voting, the 45-day display period begins 45 days before the election or vote itself

Designated as an emergency bill, taking effect immediately upon enactment rather than following the standard effective date
