Municipalities must submit candidate qualifications for each municipal office to the State Board of Elections at least 6 months before the candidate filing deadline

Within 1 week after the candidate filing deadline, municipalities must submit to the State Board a list of qualified candidates and information on how and where to vote

The State Board of Elections must immediately publish all submitted municipal election information on its website

Municipalities must continue to submit certified election results within 30 days, including vote totals broken down by voting method (early voting, mail-in, provisional, election day) and party affiliation for partisan elections
