Subjects personal data collected by autonomous vehicles to Maryland's Online Data Privacy Act, regardless of the number of consumers whose data is processed

Preempts local governments from prohibiting autonomous vehicle operation or imposing AV-specific taxes, fees, or requirements; effective date October 1, 2026
