Requires health insurers to reimburse services provided by graduate-level clinical interns in counseling, social work, and psychology when those services fall within the scope of practice of their supervising licensed professionals

Services must be provided at an outpatient health care facility by interns enrolled in graduate programs and working under direct supervision of appropriately licensed clinicians

Supervising professionals must bill for intern services (licensed clinical professional counselors for counseling interns, licensed certified social workers-clinical for social work interns, licensed psychologists for psychology interns)

Applies to individual, group, and blanket health insurance policies delivered or issued in Maryland, or covering individuals who reside or work in the state

Takes effect January 1, 2027, applying to all policies issued, delivered, or renewed on or after that date
