Establishes training requirements for limited X-ray machine operators including at least 6 months of clinical care experience, 115 hours of didactic training, 480 hours of clinical training, and passing the ARRT examination for limited scope of practice in radiography.

Creates disciplinary procedures for limited X-ray machine operators, allowing the Board to deny, suspend, or revoke registrations for violations including fraud, incompetence, substance abuse, patient abandonment, and failure to meet quality standards.

Authorizes physician assistants to perform X-ray duties on extremities only after completing a course with radiographic studies on at least 20 patients, under direct supervision of a collaborating physician or radiologist, using mini C-arm or similar low-level radiation machines.

Civil penalties of up to $5,000 per violation may be imposed on physician offices and up to $1,000 per violation on individuals who perform X-ray duties without meeting registration requirements; effective date is October 1, 2026.
